Dear family and friends!
This week has been a very challenging week! As we went
out and got after it! We didn't have very many miles as we started out the week
so we had to bike from he house 2 days in s row! But we were able to find a lot
of people, that accepted a return appointment. We also had a lesson in a
members home! That is probably the best way to have lessons! I love my
companion elder Sherwood! He is an awesome missionary! We sure have a lot of
fun together! And we work super hard! I also had the chance to go on an
exchange with elder field he is from Washington state, he is an awesome
missionary! I'm so blessed as a leader to have great missionaries in my
district!
We have had a lot of amazing people that we met! I have
seen the blessings come as we are obedient and diligent in our work! I love
this work as missionaries that we get to do! I know this church is the only
true and restored church on the earth! This week I really come to understand
the importance of bearing your simple testimony as we talk to people! I know
that as we testify of what we know to be true that the people we talk to will
be able to feel the Spirit!
I hope y'all had a great week! And are continually
strengthening your own testimonies in this one restored gospel on earth!
I can't believe I've been out for 22 months! It doesn't
feel like it's been that long! It still feels like I just started this journey!
I'm excited to see what this last month I have to serve the lord brings!
I'm excited for all of the miracles I will get to see and
for all of the lives I will be able to experience a change!
We were also able to teach a guy where his wife is a
member and he isn't but he's been investigating the church for several years
now but he says that he is on the verge of being ready for baptism! So I hope
he will be able to gain his own testimony of this 1 true gospel!
I love y'all! And miss y'all! I hope y'all had a great
week!
Keep on the strait and narrow path and reading the Book
of Mormon and praying and attending your church meetings!
Love,
Elder Durfee
