So this week was a very eventful week!

Monday: had a good preparation day! we were able to get all the things done we needed to! Then we went out and tried a bunch of people, none were home! We spent most of the day at the apartment playing skip bo! this amazing card game!

Tuesday: We spent a lot of time on the bikes! We biked a lot from the house today! We were able to meet with some less actives but investigator wise none were home!

Wednesday: We had district meeting! We went to district meeting! And I learned a lot! Then we went on an exchange! I went with our district leader Elder Hansen! I learned so much from him! He was trained in the same area I was!

Thursday: We re exchanged back that morning, then we had weekly planning. Once we got home we had just enough miles in our car to go to church and back one time! So we rode our bikes from the house the rest the week! WE had one great lesson with our one Investigator with a baptismal date!

Friday: we went out and tried potentials and the referals we received from the hermanas when they came down on Tuesday! We got dumped on!!!!!! it was coming down in Sheets sideways! we got soaked!

Saturday: we mowed a members lawn! And spent a lot of time on our bikes! I was so wiped out everyday this week! We had one great lesson today!

Sunday: today was amazing! the Broughs came and spoke in sacrament and taught the 3rd hour on member missionary work! Doing your part is very important! The Broughs had us do a 5 minutes or less restoration lesson and we did it in 1 minute and thirty seconds! haha so then President Brough wanted to beat us and he did it in 29.4 seconds! Then we went out and we went and was on our way to see a less active to out run the rain and I got a flat tire on my bike!!!! So we sat at his house on his porch trying to patch it! Couldn't get it to patch so we had to walk home! it is a 3 mile trip! haha so we walked home and half of it in on the side of a 45 mile an hour highway1 haha it was interesting!

This week I learned to push through! Things are not always as easy as you want them to be but if you look at what you are going through and ponder it and pray about it you will come to understand why you were placed in the circumstances you are in!

This week was filled with some serious adventure!!!

Monday: We had a great preparation day! Then we were able to meet with a less active, and we were trying to find more people to teach.

Tuesday: We had a super great day! So we got up and we tried a lot of people. So we had tried some in a trailer park, then we ate some lunch! Then we went out and tried some more potentials. Then we were heading over to our appointment, and we were 10 minutes early and we were wondering what to do, and I had a persons name come to mind and she lived just 2 houses down so we went over to her house and was just getting out of the car and she came flying out of her house door in tears!!! I was able to talk to her briefly and let her know that her heavenly father loves her! and that I was prompted to come see here at this time for a reason! She gave us a day and time to come back to talk.  I know we were in that area at that time for that very reason! it was very powerful!  Then we tried some more potentials Then we had a super great lesson with a lady we had been trying to get into contact with for a long time and had a great lesson!

Wednesday: we had a great district meeting! our district leader is new to the district leader stuff but his training was super amazing! it helped me to understand more of what I can improve on! Then we were able to meet with a couple of less actives in Bedford, then had a dinner appointment with a member then we had mutual after a meeting with the new branch president! I really like him!!!

Thursday: We had weekly planning! Then we ran around trying to meet with people. we didn't have much luck but we were able to talk to some amazing people!

Friday: we had to bike from the house because we are super low on miles! so we are going to be biking for pretty much the rest of the month! haha. WE were able to meet with some less actives and we continued trying to find new people. it feels super awesome biking around all day! so while we had stopped and was taking a break this little tweety bird flew over to us and landed right under my bike! and it just hopped around underneath me! it was super weird! but super cool!

Saturday: We got up and mowed a members lawn, then we ate lunch, then we set out on our bikes and set up the church, and we also continued tried meeting with people, but we were able to talk with a lot of people outside!

Sunday: Today was a super great meeting! We learned about the Sabbath day and how to keep it holy! very powerful talks! he talked about how it went from the holy Sabbath. to the Sabbath day to the weekend, how it has gone down in importance very slightly! it was very interesting. Then we went home ate some lunch then set out on the bikes! WE were able to meet this pretty sweet guy That liked hearing about the book of Mormon. we were also able to clear up some beliefs he had about the Mormons that weren't true!

But to make this week so interesting! So about Tuesday I got this rash on my leg! don't know where it came from or how it got there! but it was driving me crazy so finally on Friday I called sister brough. she refered me to the mission doctor and he said based off of what I described and what the picture looked like he said it was an infection of my pours so yeah.... but he got a medication for me and it is now clearing up!

But other than that note this week was fairly productive! Persistence and hard work will always pay off if we have faith! We need to always put trust in the lord and we will be blessed as we rely on him!

Monday: we had a great and productive preparation day! we were able to see a less active, and also we tried a lot of potentials. none seemed to want to answer the door!

Tuesday: we had a really good day! We Tried a bunch of people we had met in the past weeks and none were home. so we then had a great lesson with this investigator we found that we had a hand off lesson with the Hermanas Because the investigator is Spanish. Then we were able to go and meet with a bunch of great new people. Then we had dinner at a members! Then we went home after helping him load and unload some hay in and out of his truck. It was like back at home for me!

Wednesday: We had a really early morning!!! We got up and 4!!! We got ready then drove to the LaGrange Elders apartment. so they could drive us to Louisville to meet the rest of the district and the Assistants to take us to Lexington, for a zone conference with Elder Zwick!!! It was a very powerful meeting!!! learned so much!!! We need to know that we know! and don't look back!!! We got home around 8:30 so it was an all day deal! but it was very spiritually uplifting!!!

Thursday: We got up and went to Sanders to try this guy for our appointment that wasn't there! :( but then we drove home and had weekly planning! Then we went and tried some of our investigators and had to drop them all because they just aren't taking us serious! so we are having to start all over with 0 investigators! but I know that as we get out there and work hard and have faith that the Lord will provide a way for his work to go on!

Friday: we got up and mowed a members lawn, then we hustled to another members for lunch! WE got to EAT GATOR TAIL and FROG LEGS!!!!! it was super good! They said next time we will eat rabbit! Then we went out trying potentials! Then we had dinner with a member we had deep fried chicken and mac and cheese and corn puddin. Then we tried some more potentials.

Saturday: We went and set up the church building for Sunday. Then we had lunch and after lunch we tried more potentials. We have been trying to find more and more people and it has been a test of our patience and diligence and faith. But I know that as  we exercise faith that we will see the results of our efforts.

Sunday: we had a great service! the talks were all great! they were focused on the importance of the sacrament! Then all of the lessons were focused on missionary work! and The change in the branch presidency is awesome! today was the happiest and talkative I have ever seen the members here!!! it was amazing! I see great things coming this way! But then we ended the day trying more of our investigators they weren't home. so we went and saw some of or less active members.

Patience is something really hard to master, but if we master it the rest follows in behind it. As we are patient it shows our faith.

Monday: we had a great preparation day. it was kinda boring not a lot of fun activities to do. but we did get all of the needed things done for the week. but all of our appointments fell through! :(

Tuesday: we had district meeting! it was very informational! I learned a lot! Then we were able to meet some less active members in Bedford that most of the branch hasn't met with in a while! and we also met with an investigating family! then we had a great dinner with a member! Then we tried to see our investigators and none were home!

Wednesday: We went and got an appraisal for how much it would cost to fix our car. then we tired some people that canceled on us. then we went out to sanders and saw more less actives, had some good lessons with them! then we tried some potentials then saw more members.

Thursday: We weekly planned!!! Then we saw more potentials and less actives. then we spent a lot of time on the bikes trying to find new people.

Friday: I was on an exchange in LaGrange area! it was a great day! we got to meet some awesome new people down in some hollows! and some less active members. we spend a lot of time on the bikes. it feels nice riding the bike.

Saturday: We had a good lesson in the mormoing with a person Elder Stevens found on the exchange. then we met wit ha less active. and got her information to give to the branch clerk. Then we went and met a guy that lives with a less active, and we set up an appointment with him for this next week. Then we met this omish girl and her friend. and her fried said a chanting prayer for us. it was super weird! Then we ended the day with a very spiritual lesson with a less active watching the restoration DVD.

Sunday: we had a great church service!!! and we got a new branch presidency!!! so we will see how the changes go! I'm excited for this branch! Then we went and tried some people. none were home. so we went and saw another less active member. she was super negative about me and the branch and was being very rude. so we were going to leave then she told us to get out. so we left. haha people just don't understand sometimes. its sad.

This week I learned that as longa s we are doing what we are doing for the right reasons and with a whole heart it will happen the way it needs too!  Even though it may get discouraging but we must continue with faith!

Monday: so Monday we helped a member move out of her house! it was a very sad day to see you leave!! We are all going to miss her! but it was for the better! So we Then went and tried some less actives that we weren't able to catch at home. so we tried some investigators but none were home.

Tuesday: we took our Preparation day because we spent all day Monday Moving that member out! Then we had a great dinner with some members! Then we went and had an amazing lesson with some investigators we found the week before!!! we were able to set a baptismal date with them!!! I'm excited for them to progress in this gospel! and then at the end of the lesson we learned they are related to the members we just got done eating dinner with!!!

Wednesday:  We washed our car. Then we were able to see a less active she had us over for dinner, and we also tried a few investigators one was home but the other wasn't.

Thursday: We had zone conference!!!! it was a very powerful and spiritual uplifting meeting!!! I learned so much that we can apply to help our investigators with!!! I love President Brough!!! he is so funny! Then we had dinner at a members. then we came home and had two great lessons!!!!

Friday: we had weekly planning! it was one of the most productive weekly plannings ive had ever! Then we went and had some good lessons, Then ended the day mowing lawn. We mowed lawn for one of our members took us 1.5 hours!!!   We are pro lawn mowers!! haha.  We spent a lot of time on our bikes today because we were super low on miles!!!

Saturday: We tried to come in contact with a bunch of our investigators. then we had lunch, and then we set the church up for Sunday. Then we had a great lesson with on of our investigators and then we went and had a great lesson with a less active, then we saw another less active, then we went and tried a person elder stevens was guided to! it was a very spiritual experience! we set up a return appointment!!!

Sunday: we only had 1 hour of church, we had fast and testimony meeting then left, because the A/C unit wasn't working!!! and it was super hot in there!!! The members and us were dieing!!! it was miserable!! then we got the opportunity to go give the sacrament to one of our home bound members! it was an amazing experience and got to ride in a convertible!! haha, Then we had lunch and tried potentials. Then we were driving and saw a bunch of flashing lights so we drove over there and there was a horrible wreck!!!! it was crazy! Then we went and ended the day with a less active, he wasn't feeling very well...

I know that as we put our trust in the lord and rely on him everything is possible.
