This week was pretty crazy!!! So preparation day was pretty good! we did all of the regular activities and did a lot of catching up on sleep!

Tuesday: WE went and mowed a less actives lawn. Then we had some awesome lessons with some investigators.  we also had another less active give us a call and she wanted us to go and give here a blessing we have all been getting sick out here!! 

Wednesday: WE got up and got in contact with a less active single lady and she had us come and cut here grass and we had to basically cut a hay field in her back yard with a push mower!!! it was crazy!! took us 5 hours to finish!!! then ate dinner then had mutual with the youth.

Thursday: We had a super awesome training on the Ipad's with Elder Zwick! he is a super funny General authority he is apart of the seventy! I learned a lot! so we will be getting Ipads this upcoming Friday! Then we had a super awesome lesson with the recent convert my companion and his last companion just had.

Friday: WE went and mowed another Less active ladies lawn with a riding lawn mower way nicer to do!!! then we came home and we did some weekly planning! Then had some good lessons with some investigators. then we had dinner. then a member came and dropped us off some vegetable soup because we were both sick! And a boy that I had taught in Beattyville got baptized! 

Saturday: It was a pretty crazy day! so we got up did some mormon.org time and then we went and tried some people. then i had to take a break with the head cold i had! Then we saw a less active, then we had dinner and then we did some tracting. Also we got a call that Elder Benham was getting transferred!!! so I am getting a new companion this Tuesday well today! haha.

Sunday: it was a super good meeting and we had dinner at a members the best members in this branch i love them!!! We got to catch some Fire Flys!!

My new companions is Elder Stevens from Midvale Utah! he was trained by an elder that was in my first areas district and in my first district was are gonna have some fun times!!

So this week was a pretty good week! Monday: we got all of our shopping and emailing done then we went and had some lessons.  Also did some napping! we don't get to do much fun seems how we aren't close to any other missionaries!

Tuesday: WE did some Mormon.org time. then we went and helped a less active with her lawn. we mowed it then put most of it into trash cans for her! Then we came home ate dinner. then we went and visited another less active and read out of the Book of Mormon with him!

Wednesday: WE went and tried to help another less active with her lawn but she wasn't home... so we went and tried some former investigators and most of them said right now isn't a good time. so we had lunch then we went and met with this other less active and read from the Book of Mormon with her as well. Then we went and saw another less active kid living with his non member great grandma and invited him to mutual later that day. then we went to mutual and we played this card game.

Thursday: We got up and finished the one Less actives lawn. then we came home ate lunch and then weekly planned. Then we went and visited some more less actives and read from the Book of Mormon with them. Then we taught a very awesome lesson with this grandma who here grandkids are members, it was a very spiritual lesson.

Friday: WE had zone meeting!! I learned a lot! Then I went on an exchange with our district leader in his area on a bike! It was a lot of fun! we had dinner with a member at Bob Evans and then we also went and did a lot of talking with people on the side walks and we found this family that was unloading  Uhaul and we helped them and got it all unloaded in 2 hours. It was super full! it was crazy!

Saturday: WE had a good day we saw two different snapping turtles!!! they are some scary creatures. I was gonna pick him up but he snapped so we just videod him and took pictures.. then we had a member drive us back to Carrollton from Crestwood to re exchange back.

Sunday: we had a super good day it was Stake conference!!! I learned a lot!!! I loved it! Then we went to a members house from the stake so Elder Benham could Skype his mom for mothers day Skype because she was unable to do it last week.

As long as we keep our sights set on our goals we will achieve them if we have a positive attitude!!

Monday: was a good preparation day! We got all we needed done and we went to the Shelbyville mall with other missionaries! It was a lot of fun!

Tuesday: We did a lot of tracting!! and finding new investigators! and trying former investigators.

Wednesday: we went saw a less active boy and his sisters and brother and was able to have a short lesson with them before we had to run to mutual for the youth! then the youth did a bike ride, and with my companion not being able to ride a bike we went with the branch president and saw an elderly lady and told her we would be glad to help keep her yard nice.

Thursday: we went to that elder lady and racked up the grass off her lawn from the others guys cutting her grass and we also got our hair cut! Then we cleaned our car for the Zone Conference we had on Friday. Then we went and tried to see all of our investigators and none were home so we did some tracting. then we  slept over with some missionaries in Lagrange so we didn't waste miles by driving home.

Friday: we had zone conference! it was a lot of fun and I learned so much! we also got fed hot browns and derby pie!! it was super good! Then I was able to go on an exchange with our District Leaders companion and I was on a bike in Crestwood's area.

Saturday: I was on the exchange with Elder Forrest in Creswood and we found this one awesome new investigator for them and also found this other really sweet couple! and we did alot of biking!! man it was a lot of biking!

Sunday: Mothers day!! we had church  I was able to give a talk about my moms! Then we drove and had dinner with a member and also I was able to skype home! it was good getting to see my family!

I know that as we keep focused on the things that matter most that we will be helped in all of our other aspects in life!

So this week. was filled with a lot of finding. Monday: we were able to get in and teach this guy that owns a Red Wolf! he caught it and domesticated it!! and it is part Chow. it is a super legit wolf! and his name is Bear. haha

Tuesday: We Went and tried this guy we had made an appointment with and no one answered the door. so went and tried this other lady we had found and she sent her husband and said we aren't interested.  then we went back where we parked our car which was right by the first persons house we tried and his wife was outside the back door and she was yelling up a storm about the dang Mormons came and were pounding on the door.... :( we waved and she waved us off. Then we went and did some tracting. then we went and saw a less active. then we went and had dinner at a members house, they are a little negative.... then we went and had a great lesson with this investigator we have that is on house arrest he is going through a lot and we tired to help him out with the gospel and he came out feeling better.  then we drove to the Lagrange elders apartment for a sleep over to go to district meeting the next day.

Wednesday: We had district meeting then we also had district lunch it was fun!! Then we went and tried all of our other investigators in Trimble county but none were home.... so we went and had dinner after trying all of them with another member! This family is super awesome!! I love them! they are super funny! then we hurry and went to the church building and had a short lesson with this younger girl we are teaching and then we had mutual with the kids. we played basketball. it was a lot of fun! and this one kid stepped on my camera! I was mad! it broke my screen so I couldn't see what I was taking....

Thursday: today was a good day. we had weekly planning and the Hermana's (Spanish sisters) came down and covered this part of their area and found a bunch of Latino's! We showed them around and then we tried some less actives.

Friday: we went and did some Mormon.org time. and we also tried a referral that the Hermana's found while they were up here. but she wasn't home. so we went and tried formers and had lunch afterwards then kept trying former investigators and then ate dinner. then we went and did some tracting! and talked with some investigators we have and had a good conversation with them.

Saturday: we Went and tried out a different town in our area Ghent, because it's a new month and we got more miles!!! and we tried pretty much every door there as either Less active members or Former investigators. Then we had dinner at a members. It was super good!! I'm glad we have started getting some member meals. because I hate cooking!! it's gotten old. ha ha. Then we ended the day off tracting and everyone was either not home or wasn't interested, or was just leaving. so that was kind of a bummer.

Sunday: we had a great Fast and Testimony meeting! then we came home and tired a bunch of more formers in Carrollton. then we had lunch tostado's!! super good. then we tried some la's and then we went and saw some of our investigators.

Even though we might be put in tough or slow situations or area's we need to keep pushing forward and having faith that All is gonna work out and that we are were we are for a reason.
