June 29, 2015

this week was a very eventful week!
Monday: we WE had a great lesson with our investigators and also a great dinner lesson with a less active member!

Tuesday: we mowed a lawn for a member,  then we had a great lesson with our investigators. and a lot of knocking doors.

Wednesday: We had a great district meeting! Learned a lot! and then we went and helped a member put up a fence for their new pony (dog) it is small enough to be a dog and is trained as a dog would be. Then we rushed home and had a lesson right before we had to be back home.

Thursday: we weekly planned, then we went and tracted all day! haha Trailer park! found a bunch of Latinos for the hermanas! Then had  great lesson with our investigator that we found out is moving to New Albany Indiana! Then we had dinner with a member for our birthdays! Then we had another great lesson with some other investigators.

Friday: IT was my birthday!!! I had a pretty lame birthday actually! haha we spent the whole day spraying the base of the walls and drying all of our clothes to kill bed bugs!!!! we did that all day! and we vacuumed the whole house our beds our  car and it was just super stressful! but we got rid of them!! we won the battle!!! Then we went and had a lesson with an investigator and when we got home I found a bed bug on Elder Stevens and so we stripped down dried the clothes we were wearing changed vacuumed the car again, and called the mission office for advice all day, they said we picked it up from wherever we just came from. so we now know where we are getting them from!!!! We solved the Issue!!!!

Saturday: We tracted all day and saw a less active and had another lesson with one of our investigators.

Sunday: we had a great sacrament service! I learned a lot as to what I need to do to help the investigators we have to progress! and we tracted. and then we had another great lesson with our investigators.

This week was filled with trials but as we kept faith and endured we were able to overcome the obstacles!

June 22, 2015

This week was filled with a lot of changing peoples records of what they've been taught from paper to the ipad!! we are officially moved all over from paper to electronics!! It took a lot of time to get it done! But I am sure glad it's all done!

Monday: we had a lot of great appointments at the end of the day!! We spend most of our preparation day filling out areabook information!

Tuesday: We had interviews with President Brough! I love President Brough! he is so funny! I love meeting with him! I also love our Discussions! Then we went and saw a member, then we added area book information. Then Saw two more less actives, they hadn't seen missionaries in a long time! It was good! the one is the daughter of a member that was in Beattyville my last area! So it was great getting to meet her!

Wednesday: WE had all of our appointments fall through! :( it was super sad! So we entered info on our area book as our back up, Then we went to mutual with the youth, we helped unload the cement from the members trailer that we loaded the other week.

Thursday: Today was a pretty great day! we went into a different town in our area that I had only been to once, was able to meet some less actives, I hadn't met before and visit some that I'd met once before! It rained all day!

Friday: We Set up the church building, and cleaned it! the best it has looked in a long time said the Branch President! the Air conditioning went out in the building so it was hot all week!!! and they installed  a little window unit for sunday and so it was hot! but they were drilling holes in floor to add a new a/c unit so there was dust all over, so we had to clean it!

Saturday: we were on exchanges I was with Elder Langston in LaGrange! we rode bikes most of the day! We met this one member couple they were super funny! kinda scared me alittle, haha but I had fun! Then we did a lot of talking with people on the street. Then exchanged back! we took an awesome way home down dark hollows at night! super fun! almost hit a deer! we had an awesome fish sandwich for dinner!

Sunday: We had church for 1 hour! we had sacrament and then went home because it was super hot with just a window A/C unit! it was miserable! We had Easy bake lasagna for lunch! and bbq ribs and chicken on a grill for dinner!! we ate good on fathers day! and I made homemade oreos! But we entered in area book information all day! and we finally finished it at 9:00 pm! I'm glad to have it done!

As long as we keep pushing forward with faith in Christ and keep praying and reading our scriptures everything is possible!!!

We all need to be thankful for what we have!!! And we all must rely on the Lord for everything we need help with he is our biggest most effective way to help us in our lives!
