I hit my 9 month mark!! can you believe it's been 9 months
already!!? time is flying bye!!! So Monday was a good day we got a lot of
shopping done and we also had a great lesson with one of our investigators and
set a baptismal date!!!
Tuesday: we had a good day as well filled with finding
new people to teach Elder Stevens and myself have been tracting and we have
found some people to teach for this upcoming week! it's going to be awesome!!!
Wednesday: we had district meeting learning a lot on how to use
our I pads to the fullest as a missionary!! it's pretty different! we also
got in contact with some less actives and had a great dinner with a
member! then we had mutual!! the Youth shot Bows!! it was fun!!
Thursday: We were able to weekly plan and plan for all of
our investigators for this next week! then we mowed lawns for the rest of the
day! it was a lot of work! we were physically drained!!
Friday: We Tracted all day as well! I was on an exchange
with our district leader today and we found a lot of new people to teach!! this
next week is going to be a very exciting week!! the work here in Carrollton is
starting to boom!! I'm excited!! we had a great lesson with a less active on
the Restoration!
Saturday: we tracted all day today as well! we also were
able to go and say a prayer with a non member that is housing a less active,
she has cancer and so we were able to say a prayer for peace and comfort and
for the strength.
Sunday: This day was pretty awesome! and sad at the same
time! we had an awesome Fast and Testimony meeting! then Elder Stevens and
myself tracted all day again and then we were able to attend a memorial for one
of the members of the branches daughter that just passed away from cancer.. it
was a very spiritual meeting!
This week has been very hard in the heat and humidity, but I
know that as we are obedient to the commandments and are doing all of the
necessary things we must do that we will be blessed!
