This week was a very good week! Had a lot of fun!

Monday: we had the regular p day, we emailed and hung out with the zone leaders. En ate dinner at the sorensens! They are the coolest family!

Tuesday: we had a lot of biking today talked to a lot of awesome people! Went and saw Blanche in the hospital! But she got out she had some blood clots in her lungs! Ended the day with an awesome lesson with a guy! He is super cool!

Wednesday: we had interviews with president Brough! Man I love that guy! He is so funny! He is super cool! Then we went out biking all day, talked with a lot of people, then we had dinner with the Mathis family! They are the best! Then we had a mini coordination then had a lesson with one of our investigators and the dad goes so about being baptized yeah I don't think we can because I've been getting crap from my wife and she hates religion and she especially hates you guys!  So yeah... We will continue to try and work with her.

Thursday: we had weekly planning!   Then we biked around and had an

awesome lesson with this couple, they were very stand offish at first but by the end they were super interested! I love seeing how the gospel changes people's lives! We had dinner at the moreys, they are a cool family too! Then had a lesson with the Hardins they are such a solid family!

Friday: we had an amazing lesson with this investigator we are trying to get her to come to church but Saran is doing everything in his power to stop her! She loves everything about our church but something always comes up on Saturday! Then we pretty much biked around talking to people, man there are some interesting people in Indiana! Sure makes talking with them a lot of fun! Then ended the night visiting with a recent convert sister nall.

Saturday: we met with Blanche at their house she is doing much better!

Then we went and did service at the Salvation Army sorting out clothes! Then went biking around and then ate dinner at dales! We ate meatloaf! I love Dale! Then we went to zestos for dessert! Then we had a super awesome lesson with this new investigator he had a lot of great questions! We helped him to resolve concerns! Then we went t coorelation.

Sunday: was great! Had a great service then we came home changed ate lunch then went out and talked with people then studied then went to the fireside! I love the fire sides! Was super good!

This week was a lot of fun! And we worked super hard! And we talked to

329 of Gods children this week!

February 22, 2016

Monday: was a super good day! We had a fun preparation day with the zone leaders and the district leader and his companion and the car elders! Then we had a great lesson with a member! She moved here from Lehi Utah! Super cool family! Then we had a super awesome lesson with a pastor of another church he agreed to read and pray about the Book of Mormon!

Tuesday: we did a lot of finding and a lot of biking! We talked to 100 people today! We had a super cool lesson with a kid that had investigated before we invited him to church, but most of the day was spent biking around and talking with everyone!

Wednesday: we got up at 6 and went to the church and played basketball! It was a lot of fun! Great excise! Then we had a great district meeting! Had our one appointment fall through... So we biked around talked to a bunch of people, then had dinner with the Mathis's were super fun! Then we got picked up by Dale he took us to a ward missionary meeting, was super good! Then we had a great lesson with the Hardins! They are so awesome!!

Thursday: the car elders took us to our lesson because the member that was going to go out with us his car wouldn't start! So we went with the car elders to our lesson, had a super great lesson! Then we had them take us to he funeral home, and we had a funeral for our best friend Bill linne! I'm going to miss meeting with him! He died from a heart attack! It was a super great service was cool listening to all of the great memories everyone had with him! He is a super great man!

Then we had a great lesson with this one girl we set up an appointment! She is suspected cool! I'm excited for her. Then we weekly planned and then waited with a member at the church for one of our investigators to come for an appointment didn't come. So then we biked to another members house and had dinner! They are a super awesome family the kemptons!

Friday: we biked around today, then we biked to our next appointment and the member that came out he's a return missionary from California, he biked along way! Then we went on an exchange I went to Clarksville Indiana! Had a lot of fun! Found some cool people!

Saturday: we were on the exchange until 5 so we biked to dales and had dinner, he cooked spaghetti! Then we biked around for the rest of the day trying to find people.

Sunday: it was a very interesting day! The talks were focused on self reliance! Super good! But then I talked to Allison Blackwell and Chris, it was super weird seeing people I knew from home! Then we came home studied then brother Schnobrich picked us up and took us to their house for dinner, it was super good! Fed us brisket! I love that family! So funny! Reminded me so much if meeting at the mason parties!

They are an awesome family! Then he brought us back home and we biked around had one appointment fall through, then we biked home car elders picked us up and took us to the church and we had a great meet the Mormons/ church tour! And I had one of the most awesome powerful lessons ever! With the 4 of us! We switched off everypoint the spirit was so strong! It was amazing! Had a lot of great questions asked!

Then we finished the night seeing Dale. This week we talked to 300 of Gods children! It was super awesome!

I learned that diligence and gaining the lords trust by talking with everyone we see! I love you all and miss you all! Hope you all are having fun! This week was awesome biking with 70 degrees!

This week was super awesome! We had a lot of great spiritual moments!

We had a great zone meeting on Thursday and it was so inspired it was on not making excuses for the things we can control, and the importance of setting a goals and when you set goals with the spirit you can achieve anything. We were able to talk to 240 of Our Heavenly Fathers Children. It was super awesome we were able to set up 30 return appointments this week! One of those lessons was amazing! The spirit was so strong! And he accepted a baptismal date! Then it snowed on Sunday! No more warm weather! It was 15 degrees loving it on the bike! We also taught a lesson with he car elders to hand off one of our investigators to them. But most of this week was spent biking around talking to everyone we saw, heard. It was amazing to watch what miracles came from gaining the lords trust. I love this gospel, I have come to the realization of how important it is to share the message that we have, because we need to hasten the lords work by gaining his trust, and doing the things he has asked us to do. As we read the Book of Mormon and ponder the messages that it contains daily and have daily prayer we will be able to know of the things that he wants us to do.

This week I learned that what you put into something is what you get out of it, if you work hard and have the right intent you will achieve the things you want done that are in your control.

February 8, 2016

This week was filled with a lot of finding! We talked with a lot of really cool people. But Monday we had a good preparation day. We hung with the zone leaders and the car elders and elder Bartok my Canadian companion got transferred to my first area! Bluegrass!!! We had a lot of random fun over at their apartment, then we went to the sorensens for dinner! They are an awesome family! I really enjoy the time we get to spend with them! This ward is the best! But then when we got home after brother Sorensen dropped us off we biked around new Albany talking to people.

Tuesday: today it was 52 degrees! Super crazy winter over here! It's awesome! Awesome biking weather! And seems how elder Bartok got transferred today and transfer meetings are now a thing of the past elder Andrews, elder benard, and myself were in a trio for 2 hours!

Elder Andrews came out with me! And we went with brother north and had a great lesson with this lady we are teaching! She accepted a baptismal date so we are excited for Her! And then we drove back to the car elders apartment where brother neidiffer brought the new missionary his name is elder matelau he is so funny! Coolest kid ever!

He's from California! And he is a Tongan! Super big guy! But an even bigger teddy bear! Love that kid! Then we went back to our bikes and we biked around all day, then had dinner at the Mathis's they are an awesome family! Then while we were there it started to dump rain! Like wow! And I had a flat tire so we fixed that then went out got like 100 yards and it went flat! In the pouring rain! So we called the car elders and they came and rescued us! And we fixed my tire in the apartment! We also tried bill he wasn't home.  Had sister Davis call us and asked us to come and give her s blessing!

Wednesday: we had district meeting! We got new Hermanas back in the district! And a new zone leader! Elder Waite! He is the best! He is from northern Nevada! And knows McKay Mcgoon! So that was pretty cool figuring that out! But then our appointment canceled but brother neidiffer still took us out for lunch at wicks a pizza place! Then we went home and went to go out and on the way to another members I got another flat tire! So we finished the travel on foot just tied the bikes up and walked it out! Had a good meeting there! Helped them pack some huge doors down 4 stories in their house! Then the car elders picked us up and took us to a coorelation meeting for the missionary efforts then we went home and we bought some icecream at zestos probably one of the best icecream joints ever! Then fixed my bike! I had a huge 2 inch piece of glass in it!

Thursday: we had weekly planning! Then we went out biking! And an investigator took us out for lunch! Was super good! Then we did some biking talked with some people, then had a member go out with us and he took us out to marks feed Store! A super good barbecue place! It was amazing! Then we went out to our appointment they weren't home but when we turned around we saw a members non member spouse and asked if we could meet and he said ya! So we went in and had a good lesson with them! They are awesome! Then the member we were with spoke Spanish so he was able to talk to the non member which was cool! Then brother thurston the member that was out with us took us to our next appointment and it was a really weird lesson the mom of the family was finally there and she like ran all of the kids out of the room and so we had an awkward lesson with just the dad. Then went home and got so the car elders and we went to brother kastelers and he told us about all of the members on the directory and so we are going to start working with members more! I'm excited!

Friday: we had breakfast with the moreys they are super cool! They have a son serving in California! Then we tried bill again still isn't home. Then we ate some lunch, then we went and had a great lesson with sister Davis she is super cool! Feel bad for her though, her family doesn't like the church. But then we went to our next appointment and the guy wasn't home! :( then we went to the Floyd memorial hospital and saw a member that was in the ER and gave him a blessing! He was so excited and happy to see us! Then had dinner at the Mathis's they are are awesome! Super funny! Then we went and saw sister nall, she's doing better, but she still struggles taking care of her grandkids!

Saturday: we went and saw Blanche and Fred doss, they are doing alittle better! But Blanche is still having troubles breathing! Then had a good lesson with sister viravong! She is hard to understand!

Then we went out biking talking with people and trying people's houses, then had dinner at dales! Oh he's a funny guy! Then we went and saw Karen with Dale after we had coorelation with him, because kasteler was out of town for work this weekend. Then tried Austin but he was "asleep". So then we biked home.

Sunday: well Sunday church was interesting! Probably one of the most interesting fast and testimony meetings I've ever had! It was pretty much like a shout out meeting! The members would get up and be like so and so because of you my testimony was strengthened so then that person would get up and they would go thanks so and so then say it was because of what so and so did! And every person that bore their testimony it was either off the wall or a shout out! Except for Austin he just wheeled to the front and just talked loud no microphone! She or crazy! But the rest of church we super awesome! Then we came home did studies then went out trying people set up a couple of return appointments, then went to try the member we met with he other day and the non member spouse was in the hospital! So that didn't happen! So we biked around and then went with Dale to go see bill in the hospital, he had broken his hip! I'm surprised he went as long as he did, without going to the hospital!

This week was filled with the power of the priesthood! I know that this authority is of God, and we need to use it, and going along with that we need to always be worthy to use the power we have been given from God!

I love y'all and miss y'all hope all is well back at home! And that you're staying warm! I've seen a huge difference as I've been making it a goal to read from the Book of Mormon everyday, that I've been able to have the spirit with me as I go out and find those children of our Heavenly Father that are without this gospel!

Well this week was very good

Monday was the normal preparation day, emailing, cleaning, shopping, then biked around trying potentials.

Tuesday: we biked and saw bill linne, he is really slipping I feel really bad for him, he isn't doing very well. But then we biked around trying people, then had a great lesson with this family we started teaching they are super awesome! We set a baptismal date with them!

Love them so much! They are awesome!

Wednesday: was a good day we started an exchange I went to Louisville, it was super awesome! I had a lot of fun on the exchange watching our district leader speak Spanish to all the Hispanics.

Thursday: we had district meeting then went to chick fillet for district lunch! I love this district! Then we went with our ward mission leader and had a very awesome lesson so a new investigator!

She is amazing! The spirit was super strong when we recited the first vision! Then we had another great lesson with that family! They are awesome! Then we ate dinner at the moreys it was super good! I love the members here!

Friday: we did weekly planning after we saw bill linne. Then did some biking around and then went to the Mathis's for dinners, they are an awesome family! Love them! So funny!

Saturday: we went and saw Blanche! She is super awesome! She is starting to feel better! She also came to church! But then we spent the rest of the day biking talking with people,and trying potentials.

We then ate dinner at dales! And found out transfer news! I am staying new Albany! And the second member of my trio days is getting transferred to my first area in my mission! So now the three stooges are all separated! But we are getting a Samoan! He is the coolest guy ever! I'll send pictures of all four of us later!

Sunday: was a great service! Half of the family made it to church! The teenagers couldn't be woken up in time! But the ones that came had a very spiritual experience and it was amazing! Then we had a lesson with them after church! And they are excited for their baptism! Then we went and gave a member a blessing, for her copd, then we spent rest of day biking around!

January 25, 2016

This week was a pretty slow week as far as missionary work. But was still a productive week.

Monday: was the typical preparation day. We shopped. Emailed, laundry.

Hung out. With the other elders. Then ended the night with biking around talking to people.

Tuesday: it was kind of a slow day. We got up did studies then we went and saw Bill linne. He is funny! Then came home and ate some lunch, then had a member on his way to go out with us for an appointment and the lady texted and canceled 5 minutes before the member got there, so we went out with him and tried some potentials and also some referrals. Then we biked around, Dale took us out to dinner. The we biked super hard to get to the Hardins. They are an awesome recent convert family! But they are moving... Super sad! Oh biking was hard today because of snow we got other day.

Wednesday: we had district meeting. We biked there in 1 foot of snow!

Was super hard going! Biking in the snow is not a good idea! Haha but district meeting was super good. Then came home ate lunch then went back out in the snow and due to the snow it took us longer than expected to get anywhere. I also took a big spill landed on my keys wow!!! Hurts a lot! But then we had a good lesson with this guy we had found yesterday. Then tried one of our other appointments and she.

Wasn't home.

Thursday: we woke up travel takes forever with a bike in snow. But we had one great lesson with one of our investigators! I'm excited. For her! Then we went and met with Karen read from 2 Nephi 31: 19-20, 13 This whole chapter is super amazing! Then. We ate some dinner at the apartment then, the biked, met a member and he took us out to an appointment that didn't happen. Then we went out with. Dale and we went to see our baptismal dates and they dropped us! Super sad! I didn't understand it! And the guy he didn't even know what he was doing. Super sad. Ended night with getting a text from the. Zone leaders from president Brough, saying not to go out Friday due to snow storm coming.

Friday: we get up and we had studies then about 10 o clock it started snowing hard! And it snowed all day! So we after studies biked to car elders. And we played settlers of catan. Then we got a phone call from brother kasteler, he said we would go out at1 and shovel drive ways!

It was awesome we shoveled like 8 drive waYS! And had many turn us down! It was crazy! But it felt great! Then we got done went home and chilled.

Saturday: we were let out by 12 so we went out and we shoveled this older ladies drive way and walk ways, asked her neighbor for shovels his boy went in to ask his dad, his dad came out and goes here be my guest I'm sick of shoveling Lol. So we knocked out this one driveway.

In like 20 minutes. Then we walked everywhere today. We. Saw like three people cause of how spread out it was. Then ended night with Dale eating dinner.  Then walked home.

Sunday: it was a great day at church! Brother Hardin gave a great talk, well all of the talks were amazing!  It was focused on.

Testimonies! Was super powerful! Asked a member if we was still good for dinner on Monday. She said no husband out of town. So we rescheduled! Then I was joking around with this one member about never having us over for dinner and so he goes well you know what mr rodeo Durfee I'll ask my wife right now! And he came back and goes she said yes! What time! And I go 5? So it was set! And so we had studies tried people no luck! Then came home met brother white for. Dinner, he is such a funny guy! He has got so many awesome stories most of them from his mission! He hilarious! But then he brought us home we. Went and tried a person then came home!

This week taught me endurance as long as we keep moving forward you can achieve all things.
